How to get our anger under control?

    Physical exertion can help for brief, short term anger, says Dr Sarah Edelman, a psychologist and author of Change Your Thinking. Do some workout to work your anger out!





Write a letter / blog


Explain your anger in words and you don't necessary have to send it. Express whatever that comes up to your mind.



Cool off
In an acute angry stage, it's a good idea to not to confront the person straightaway. Remember, damage done by words can't be reversed or pulled back. It will always leave a deep scar engraving on one's heart even if you dont meant to do it in the first place.

slow down and think of what you want to say. Explain that you feel angry about something rather than acting aggressively. Listen carefully to other person before you response. Always bear in mind that throwing tantrum or venting can cause more problems that it solves!
Pros and Cons

Ask yourself, is the anger achieving anything or it's just hurting myself and others? Some people are reluctant to let anger to go because they see that as a victory to the other person. Afterall, what will you get back then? They wont feel the pain. You will only ended up in bitterness keeping those in your heart.

Lastly, acceptance
Recognize that some things in life just aren't fair. Sometimes we just have to accept that injustice is part of life. Learn to appreciate what you have and you will eventually find out that you've got more than anyone else that is in need.
